Trygve is based in Prague and is building long-term spaces for physical comedy, contemporary clown and joyful stupidity.

WEEKLY CLOWN PRACTICE

A regular evening for playing freely, following impulse, failing comfortably and discovering why that is often when things become funny.

The practice is open to curious humans, performers and beginners. It is not about red noses, joke writing or getting everything right. It is about pleasure, vulnerability, optimism and learning by doing.

PRAGUE HAS CLOWNS

Prague Has Clowns brings remarkable international physical-comedy and clown artists to the city to perform, teach and meet local audiences and artists.

During 2025 Trygve invited seven artists and duos to Prague. Past presentations have included Thomas Monckton, Cie SIVOUPLAIT, Creepy Boys, Eric Davis / Red Bastard and Piotr Sikora / Furiozo.

The idea is simple: introduce Prague to some brilliant idiots, introduce those brilliant idiots to Prague, and make it easier for the next strange and special thing to exist.

WORKSHOPS & COLLABORATION

Trygve teaches clown and physical comedy, hosts guest teachers, develops new work and collaborates with performers, venues and organisations.
